Du 19 au 21 mars derniers, des membres de notre \u00e9quipe se sont joints \u00e0 plus de 2700 passionn\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00e9lectronique imprim\u00e9e<\/a> \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du plus important salon \u00e0 ce sujet\u00a0: LOPEC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

En franchissant les portes du congr\u00e8s, nous avons imm\u00e9diatement constat\u00e9 \u00e0 quel point cette technologie occupe l\u2019esprit des professionnels partout sur le globe! Le site fourmillait d\u2019exposants, d\u2019experts et de curieux provenant de 44 pays diff\u00e9rents.<\/p>\n

Durant trois jours, l\u2019avenir de l\u2019\u00e9lectronique imprim\u00e9e s\u2019est discut\u00e9 par l\u2019entremise de pr\u00e9sentations, de conf\u00e9rences et de d\u00e9monstrations. Au c\u0153ur de ce regroupement d\u2019acteurs issus de plusieurs industries, nous sommes venus \u00e0 la conclusion que l\u2019impression avanc\u00e9e de circuits \u00e9lectroniques joue un r\u00f4le central dans le processus d\u2019innovation et de d\u00e9veloppement de produits dans un vaste \u00e9ventail de secteurs.<\/p>\n

L\u2019univers m\u00e9dical, entre autres, s\u2019appuie largement sur ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 pour d\u00e9cupler ses possibilit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de suivi et de services rendus au patient. La lecture des donn\u00e9es \u00e0 distance, comme les signes vitaux et les analyses sanguines, en est le parfait exemple. Gr\u00e2ce aux capteurs pouvant \u00eatre int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans des textiles ou sur des languettes de test intelligentes, il serait facile de surveiller de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cise l\u2019\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 de femmes enceintes, de personnes aux prises avec des probl\u00e8mes cardiaques ou m\u00eame d\u2019athl\u00e8tes respectant un programme de mise en forme exigeant.<\/p>\n

From March 19 to 21, some of our team members joined more than 2,700 printed electronics<\/a> enthusiasts for the industry\u2019s most important event: LOPEC<\/a><\/p>\r\n

As soon as we set foot inside the venue, we realized how important this type of technology truly is for professionals across the globe! The site was filled to the brim with exhibitors, experts, and curious attendees from 44 different countries.<\/p>\r\n

Over the course of three days, the future of printed electronics was explored via presentations, conferences, and demonstrations. At the heart of this multi-industry gathering, we concluded that advanced electronic circuit printing plays a central role in the product innovation and development process for a wide variety of industries.<\/p>\r\n

The world of medicine, among others, relies heavily on this process to expand its range of possibilities for follow-ups and patient services. Remote data interpretation for information like vital signs and blood tests is the perfect example. With the help of sensors that can be integrated into textiles or smart test strips, it\u2019s easy to precisely monitor the health status of pregnant women, people with heart problems, or athletes who adhere to a rigorous fitness program.<\/p>\r\n

In the food industry<\/a>, digital packaging is a great way to verify whether a product is safe for consumption, whether it was stored at the right temperature, and whether it has reached its expiration date. This application can help reduce waste while minimizing the risk of contamination or poisoning.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Automotive was no exception! Sensor integration, artificial intelligence, and flexible displays are all relevant to this industry. Certain manufacturers were even working on designing a type of mirror that automatically prevents glare.<\/p>\r\n

Not only are printed electronics a natural fit for the Internet of Things, but they are also applicable to eco-friendly buildings. This process can increase the performance of technologies that are currently in use while creating a world that is more connected, and above all, safer.<\/p>\r\n
